Option: End of Stroke Position Indication
Inductive proximity switches are available for end of stroke sensing. These non-contact switches detect the presence of the spud/cushion bushing.
Designed for up to 3000 PSI hydraulic systems, as well as pneumatic applications. Available on the A, LH and H Series cylinders.
The switches are two wire devices with N.O. “contacts” rated for 20-230 V AC/DC. The electrical interface is a 3-pin mini receptacle.
Also available in electromagnetic switches
Option: Discrete Position Indication
Inductive proximity switches are available for tie-rod mounting for discrete position indication. Proximity switches can be moved and locked down to the desired location on the tie rod.
These non-contact switches detect the presence of a piston mounted magnet.
Only stainless steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous tube material can be used with this type of position sensing.
These switches are perfect for applications that require discrete sensing of the piston when the desired piston sensing location is between the cylinder’s end of stroke positions.
Option: ARC™ Automatic Recirculating Cylinder Technology
- Option on H-Series Cylinders
- Available in two flow sizes and for activation in extend or retract
- Flushes cylinder with clean, cool oil when the cylinder reaches end-of-stroke (where ARC™ is selected)
- Designed to remove stagnant oil and deaerate the cylinder
- Benefits included extending cylinder life, reducing erratic cylinder performance from trapped air, and a mechanism for cylinder cooling
