Pressure Sensors – PWS Series

Parker Pressure Sensors - PWS Series

The plug in PWS sensors provide feedback information on pneumatic cylinder status in either pneumatic or electrical outputs. Mounted onto the cylinder port, these devices monitor the back pressure of the cylinder’s exhaust. When the cylinder’s piston stops, the back pressure rapidly drops and the PWS sensor provides the desired output. These devices provide a signal whenever the cylinder stops motion. Ideal for variable stroke applications such as robotics where sensor type devices such as limit switches are impractical.

The PWS sensor should be used in conjunction with the PWS Banjo that fits into the cylinder port. The sensor is then easily plugged into the banjo fitting and locked into place with a spring clip. The banjo fitting is designed to accept (piggy backed) other functional fittings such as flow controls or blocking valves.

Features / Benefits

  • Excellent vibration resistance
  • Compact
  • Lightweight
IO-Link Pressure Sensor and Switch SCPSi / SensoControl

Parker IO-Link Pressure Sensor and Switch SCPSi SensoControl

The fully electronic pressure switch SCPSi is adjustable and free from susceptible mechanical and moving components.

With its digital interface and smart functions, the SCPSi is future-proof for the increasing demands of automation solutions.

The 2 switching outputs are individually and safely parameterized from the machine control system via the standardized digital IO-Link interface (IEC 61131-9). This replaces manual programming and the commissioning phase is considerably shortened. Devices can be replaced during operation without the need for reparameterization. In order to react promptly to machine status changes or process adjustments, the re-parameterization is carried out during operation.

As an alternative to the switching functions, diagnostic values, process data and status messages are recorded directly via IO Link and enable subsequent more complex analyses. Via the integrated temperature measurement of the pressure measuring cell, the media or ambient temperature is recorded.

The proven stainless steel measuring cell with the wide pressure range (from -1 up to 600bar) allows a wide range of applications for liquid and gaseous media. The media contacting pressure connection with the pressure measuring cell is monolithically manufactured from a stainless steel without welds and sets new standards in media compatibility and pressure resistance.

Pressure Switch – PPS1 Series

Parker Pressure Switch
The PPS1 pressure switch monitors the air pressure in your pneumatic system. When the pressure in your system either drops below or exceeds the set point pressure, an electrical output is given. Repeatability — accuracy is the maximum allowable set point deviation of a single pressure or temperature switch under one given set of environmental and operational conditions.

Specially developed System 20 sensors are available for use with aggressive fluids. (EPDM Seals).

With System 20 inline sensors installed in a hydraulic system, faults can be predicted and remedied, all you have to do is connect the System 20 Electronic Hand Held Monitor (EM20). Designed to display flow, temperature, differential, rising peak and line pressure, System 20 Electronic can also calculate hydraulic power (kW and hp.) at a given point in a system to establish efficiency and power consumption. System 20 electronics versatility does not end there. The EM20 is automatically calibrated for all System 20 inline sensors using water or oil and can display in l/min, US GPM, bar, psi and kg/cm2.

  • For use with all mineral oils, water and water/oil emulsions.
  • Analogue Monitor utilizes 3 Day-Glo dial gauges with a protective hinged cover.
  • Calibrated up to 380 l/min with dual scale bar/psi & °C/°F. (US GPM also available)
  • EM20 Electronic Monitor gives a full digital display.
  • Automatically calibrated for all 3 sizes of sensor.
  • Indicates line, differential and rising peak pressure. Easily scrolled from metric to US.
LevelTemperatureController SCLTSD / SensoControl

Parker LevelTemperatureController SCLTSD, SensoControl
The SCLTSD combines the functions of a level and temperature switch, a level and temperature sensor and a level and temperature indicator: Level and temperature display (thermometer / inspection glass), switching outputs, and analogue signal.

ith the LevelTempController, you can set up and display the temperature and the level individually using a common platform. When monitoring the tank, this integration of level and temperature functionality opens up many possibilities. The LevelTempController combines the functions of a level and temperature switch, a level and temperature sensor and a level and temperature indicator:

  • Level and temperature display (thermometer / inspection glass)
  • Switching outputs
  • Analogue signal
