Air Treatment Products

<< Back to Champion page

Compressed air has long been described as the fourth utility after electricity, natural gas and water. It is often the perfect energy resource for many industrial, commercial and instrument applications. During the act of compressing air, moisture naturally forms. Removing this moisture with an air dryer is vital to avoid costly equipment failure, product contamination and distribution system breakdown.

  • Keep lubricants from being washed away from downstream components extending product life.
  • Reduce product contamination in applications such as mixing, conveying, cooling and product blow down.
  • Reduce compressed air system corrosion which would increase pressure drop and operational costs.

Product Lineup

  • Automatic Zero-Loss Drain
  • Four levels of controllers for ultimate customization

CRE Series Cycling Refrigerated Dryers

Champion Pneumatic CRE Series
The CRE Series refrigerated dryer automatically cycles the refrigeration compressor on and off in response to inlet load conditions. As the inlet air load is reduced, the refrigeration compressor cycles off, providing you with the ability to reduce energy and costs.
The CRE Series has an optimized cabinet design which promotes easy access from all four sides and the hermetically sealed refrigerant compressor provides high reliability and long service life.

  • 90 – 675 SCFM
  • Maximum Inlet Air Pressure: 250 PSIG
  • Maximum inlet Operating temperature: 130°F
  • No air loss condensate drains
  • Rebate eligibility
  • ISO 8573.1 air quality built in

CRH Series High Inlet Temp Refrigerated Air Dryers

Champion Pneumatic CRH Series
The CRH Series High Inlet Temperature refrigerated dryers feature a unique design which works directly with reciprocating air compressors. A unique heat exchanger allows the dryer to accept elevated inlet air temperatures up to 180°F (82°C). This allows compressed air users to send high temperature air straight from their compressor directly to the CRH Series refrigerated dryer and maintain a 50°F pressure dew point. The CRH Series is ideally suited for auto body shops, auto service centers, and light industrial facilities with 5 to 30 horsepower reciprocating air compressors.

  • 20 – 125 SCFM
  • Maximum inlet temperature: 180°F
  • Maximum working pressure: 250 PSIG
  • Automatic Zero-Loss Drain

CDT Series Heatless Desiccant Air Dryers

Champion Pneumatic CDT Series
CDT Series Heatless desiccant dryers open up a world of customizable performance opportunities with four standard ISO quality class levels of pressure dew points to choose from. Don’t settle for less than the ability to satisfy all of your requirements for clean, dry compressed air. A carefully engineered desiccant dryer design provides a reliable method to remove moisture as a water vapor. With the option to add coalescing filters, solid particles, liquid water droplets, liquid oil and oil vapors can be removed from the compressed air system in a reliable manner.

  • 40 – 5400 SCFM
  • Maximum working pressure: 150 PSIG standard; higher pressures available
  • Maximum inlet temperature: 120°F
  • Customizable dewpoints to -100°F
  • Large desiccant beds ensure consistent dew points
  • Three controller options
  • Packaged filtration – optional

CDHM Series Dual Tower Desiccant Air Dryers

Champion Pneumatic CDHM Series
The CDHM Series desiccant air dryers use the proven “Pressure Swing Adsorption” (PSA) method for drying wet compressed air. This requires having two identical towers containing hygroscopic desiccant. The unique design of the CDHM Series allows for the dryer to start and stop with a compressor or point-of-use equipment to eliminate purge loss when off. The solid state memory feature allows the dryer to start where it left off in the drying cycle to prevent wet air downstream.

  • 3 – 50 SCFM
  • Maximum Working Pressure: 150 PSIG
  • Maximum Inlet Temperature: 120°F
  • Pressure Dewpoints to -100°F
  • Unique Energy Saving Design
  • Eliminate purge loos with remote start/stop control

CDS Series Single Tower Desiccant Air Dryers

  • Rugged, powder coated corrosion resistant aluminum bowl withstands tough environments
  • CDSF optional oil pre-filtration package available

CFL Series

Champion Pneumatic CFL series
CFF Series air filters provide your compressed air system with premium quality filtration for the three typical contaminant types:

  1. solid particles come from ambient air contaminants like dust and from rusted, oxidized pipework. They will cause pneumatic equipment to malfunction, cause instrument and control failures, and contaminate end products;
  2. condensed water droplets come from the humidity in ambient air. Water will oxidize pipework and pneumatic equipment, ruin paint finishes and end products and;
  3. liquid oil and oil vapors are introduced by compressor lubricants and by hydrocarbon vapors present in ambient air. Oil-free compressed air is particularly important in food and pharmaceutical processes.
  • 20 – 21250 SCFM
  • Maximum working pressure: 300 PSIG
  • Maximum inlet temperature: 150°F
  • Seven filtration grades provide ISO 8573.1 standard air quality
  • Housings used conform to major pressure vessel directives in the Americas, Europe and Asia
