P5GA is an economical series of grippers. The angular 2-finger design comes in a comprehensive range of bore sizes from 12mm to 32mm and includes a magnetic piston as a standard option.

P5GB is an economical series of grippers. The parallel 2-finger design comes in a comprehensive range of bore sizes from 12mm to 32mm and includes a magnetic piston as a standard option.

Parallel Gripper – P5GM Series

P5GM is a standard retracted width series of grippers. The units have hardened, precision ground, and plated jaws for wear resistance and longer life. Jaws are supported throughout the length of the body and front-to-back thru counterbores enable socket head cap screw mounting. Back and top manifold air ports can be o-ring manifold sealed to eliminate the need for air lines. The one piece, aircraft quality aluminum body, is hard-coat anodized to 60 RC with PTFE impregnation.

A standard purge / scavenge port is used with vacuum for clean room environments or positive pressure for harsh environments. Three standard air port locations provide versatility – front, back, and top. Slip fit dowel pin holes are located in the body and jaws. Sensor mounting slots and a magnetic piston are also standard.

P5GR is a high precision series of grippers with excellent parallelism and accuracy between the gripper mounting surface and jaw surfaces. H7 dowel pin holes are located in the body and jaws. The jaws also have a key slot for better finger alignment. The units have hardened plated jaws for wear resistance and longer life. Top manifold air ports eliminate the need for air lines. “Dual-V” roller bearings provide low friction motion and are preloaded for maximum support and zero side play.

The one piece, aircraft quality aluminum body, is hard-coat anodized to 60 RC with PTFE impregnation. A standard purge / scavenge port is used with vacuum for clean room environments or positive pressure for harsh environments and jaw surfaces. Adjustable screws allow for the adjustment of preload on the roller bearings. Four standard air port locations provide versatility – front, top and both sides. The shielded design repels contamination and prevent penetration into the “Dual-V” roller bearings. Sensor mounting slots and a magnetic piston are also standard.

Parallel Gripper – P5GS Series (Wide Body)

P5GS is a wide body series of grippers. The units have hardened precision shafting for wear resistance and longer life. Jaws are supported by two shafts that extend the entire length of the body and are guided by two oil impregnated bronze bushings per shaft. End of stroke cushions reduce shock at fully open and fully closed strokes. Counterbores are provided on the inside of the jaws for through mounting to increase the range of applications. Top air ports can be o-ring manifold sealed to eliminate the need for air lines. Two standard air port locations provide versatility – front and top. Slip fit dowel pin holes are located in the body and jaws. Sensor mounting slots and a magnets are also standard.

Parallel Gripper – P5GT Series (Double Wedge)

P5GT is an extremely compact and robust double wedge series of grippers. A one piece 7075 -T6 aircraft quality aluminum body is used with dynamic components that are hardened for wear resistance and long life. Jaws are supported throughout the length of the body and are precision ground for minimal jaw play. A double acting piston is connected by a shaft to a double sided wedge.

The wedge slides in a slot located in each of the jaws converting vertical motion of the wedge into horizontal synchronous motion of the jaws. The large surface area of the wedge minimizes frictional wear. Slip fit dowel pin holes are located in the body and jaws. Accessory mounting holes mount sensors to the unit and a magnetic piston is standard.

Parallel Gripper – P5GU Series (Clean Room, Harsh Environment)


P5GU is a clean room series of grippers. The internal components are made from hardened bearing and tool steels. Stationary and non-contacting stainless steel shields eliminate the possibility of particle generation. “Dual-V” roller bearings provide low friction motion and are preloaded for maximum support and zero side play. The body is hard-coat anodized to 60 RC with PTFE impregnation. The units are lubricated with a clean-room grade grease and have a purge / scavenge port for extreme environments from dirty and gritty to clean-room class 10 or better.

Adjustable screws allow for adjustment of the preload on the roller bearings. External components are made from corrosion resistant materials for resistance to de-ionized water or for use in FDA and medical parts handling applications. The units also have slip fit dowel pin holes in body and a magnetic piston.

Parallel Gripper – P5GV Series (Miniature Clean Room)

P5GV is a miniature clean room series of grippers. It has a one piece lightweight aluminum body with a stationary and non-contacting stainless steel cover which eliminates the possibility of particle generation. The bearings are preloaded for maximum support and zero side play. The body is hard-coat anodized to 60 RC with PTFE impregnation. The units are lubricated with a clean-room grade grease and have a purge / scavenge port for extreme environments from dirty and gritty to clean-room class 10 or better.

Adjustable screws allow for adjustment of the preload on the roller bearings. Parallel Gripper – P5GW Series (3 Jaw Centering)

P5GW is a 3-jaw series of grippers. The jaw components are hardened and precision ground steel for minimum jaw play with hard plating for wear resistance and long life. A standard purge / scavenge port is used with vacuum for clean room environments or with positive pressure for harsh environments. The gripper body is shielded to repel chips and other particulates from the internal drive mechanism.

The design includes multiple side or top air ports (top ports require o-ring) and an optional spring assist to retain the component should the air supply fail, to assist the gripper for internal (-O) or external (-C) gripping, or in single acting or spring assist mode. The gripper can be mounted from the top or bottom, has finger locating sleeves for precise finger mounting, and a magnetic piston is standard.

P5GP is an electric series of grippers. The one piece, lightweight aircraft quality aluminum body ensures product accuracy. The body and jaws are hard-coat anodized to 60 RC with PTFE impregnation. A ridged design and full body support of the jaws allows for long finger lengths. Versatile mounting on top, side front and back of body. IP54 rating for tough application environments.

Slip fit dowel pin holes located in the body and jaws for precision mounting. Precision rack and pinion drive components enable smooth actuation. Zero backlash while gripping ensures excellent repeatability and accuracy. The unit has built in electronics, no external control board is needed. Magnetic piston is standard.

P5GQ is a high force series of electric grippers. The jaw components are hardened and precision ground steel for minimum jaw play with hard plating for wear resistance and long life. A ridged design and full body support of the jaws allows for long finger lengths. Slip fit dowel pin holes are located in the body and jaws for precision mounting. Also has finger locating sleeves for precise finger mounting. Grip force can be changed on the fly using 0-5V analog input, no external controller is needed. The unit is IP50 rated, comes standard with a magnetic piston, and comes in two stroke lengths, standard and extended stroke.

The ESG1 series is an electric gripper that achieves highly accurate position and speed control by closed loop control using a stepping motor and rotary encoder. The cam type has a unique structure (PAT.P) that achieves high gripping force, yet is lightweight and compact.
