Bleed Control Valves

Versa Valves Bleed Control Valves
The Versa Brass Bleed Control Valve includes a precision machined needle. The flow area, through which the air or any other gas passes to the atmosphere, can be finely adjusted by turning the needle.

After the Bleed Control Valve is adjusted, it can be securely locked at the desired setting with the lock nut provided. With a Versa 5/2 or 5/3 4-way valve and a separate exhaust port for each side of a double acting cylinder, the speed in one direction of stroke may be set at a different speed than the opposite stroke.

Bleed Valves

Versa Valves Bleed Valves
These versatile valves can be used to operate a bleed pilot control valve. Bleed valves are used to vent pressure from one end of the control valve which allows pressure from the opposite end to shift the spool thereby changing the flow pattern. Installation can be made directly on the pilot cap or at a remote location by simply running a single line from the bleed button valve to the pilot cap.

Block & Bleed Valves

Versa Valves Block and Bleed Valves
The Versa Block and Bleed valve is a traditional isolation valve. It consists of “block” and “vent” needle valves to isolate and vent downstream pressure during gauge changes.

Check Valve

Versa Valves Check Valve
Versa’s Check Valve is a 316 Stainless Steel, NACE compliant device designed to prevent reverse flow in a pneumatic circuit. The Check Valve allows unrestricted full flow in one direction and blocked “bubble tight” sealing in the reverse. Rather than the classic ball design found in many valves, Versa’s unique “shuttle” design is the key to full flow.

Dust Excluder

Versa Valves Dust Excluders
Versa Dust Excluders are available in 316 Stainless Steel and aluminum. Threaded into the exhaust port of a directional control valve, they offer effective protection against dirt, dust, moisture, and insects entering the valve, through the exhaust port, without obstructing the flow. The Versa Dust Excluder is based on a flexible seal resting on a large diameter seat. This design provides a tightly closed exhaust port, low breakaway pressure, large flow capacity, and self-cleaning action.

Dust Excluder

Versa Valves Dust Excluders
Stainless Steel Dust Excluders offer valves protection against dirt, dust, moisture, and insects, without obstructing the flow, and are suited for harsh environments

Quick Exhaust

Versa Valves Quick Exhaust
A quick Exhaust Valve is a three-ported valve with one inlet port, one cylinder port and a larger exhaust port.

When the inlet port is pressurized, the exhaust port is closed by the “Flapper” (“Shuttle” on QE-6-316) and the inlet port is connected to the cylinder port.

When pressure falls at the inlet of the Quick Exhaust Valve the cylinder port is automatically opened to the exhaust and the cylinder is rapidly depressurized.

Quick Exhaust Stainless

Versa Valves Quick Exhaust Stainless
A quick Exhaust Valve is a three-ported valve with one inlet port, one cylinder port and a larger exhaust port. When the inlet port is pressurized, the exhaust port is closed by the “Flapper” (“Shuttle” on QE-6-316) and the inlet port is connected to the cylinder port. When pressure falls at the inlet of the Quick Exhaust Valve the cylinder port is automatically opened to the exhaust and the cylinder is rapidly depressurized.

Electric Quick Exhaust

Versa Valves Electric Quick Exhaust
The Electric Quick Exhaust Valve is a three-way, NC, 3/2 valve with an extra large exhaust orifice in order to provide extra fast movement of the cylinder rod or to exhaust systems rapidly. When the solenoid is energized, the outlet port is connected to the inlet port and the exhaust port is closed. When the solenoid is de-energized, the inlet port is closed and the outlet port is connected to the exhaust port, providing rapid evacuation of the system.

Flow Control

Versa Valves Flow Control
Versa’s Flow Control Valve (FCV) is a stainless steel, NACE compliant simple device combining a check and needle valve to accomplish speed control in pneumatic actuators and cylinders.

The key to Versa’s full flow is the internal design and the Versa “shuttle.” This combination provides a larger surface area and yields higher flows than controls utilizing ball checks. When the flow is reversed, placing pressure on the “shuttle,” it rapidly opens to a high flow orifice that instantly, empties the volume in the line. Flow adjustment is controlled by Versa’s proven needle design from our “Bleed Control” family of products. Versa’s needles are designed for full adjustability throughout the control range. The unique internal design provides an exceptional linear flow curve, each % of the needle turn provides an equivalent % of flow change. No dead zones!

Junction Box

Versa Valves Junction Box
Our stainless steel junction box contains terminals to allow the installation of solenoid valves, switches, indicators and other electronic devices. These small effective boxes allow easy wiring in hazardous or wet locations, simplifying installation and reducing space requirements. The simple screw off cover design reduces the hassle of lost parts and screws at installation. These explosion- and weather-protected electrical boxes are manufactured to be certified in accordance with agencies around the world. The junction box is manufactured in stainless steel assuring resistance to environmental issues yielding a long durable product life.

Manual Shutoff

Versa Valves Manual Shutoff
Versa Manual Shutoff valves are designed for use in emergency shutdown systems.
The Versa Manual Shutoff valves are offered as either a 2-way, 2/2 (block & bleed) or 3-way, 3/2 (charge & bleed) in the event of an emergency shutdown.

Needle Valve

Versa Valve Needle Valve
Versa’s Needle Valve is a 316 stainless steel, NACE compliant device designed to meter flow in a pneumatic circuit. The flow can be gradually adjusted from zero (closed) to maximum (full open, 10 turns). Constant flow can be secured at the required setting by tightening the lock nut. Flow adjustment is controlled by Versa’s proven needle design from our “Bleed Control” family of products.

Relief Valve

Versa Valves Relief Valve
Versa’s high flow, pneumatic, pressure relief valves are factory set and tested in 5 psi increments to meet your application requirements. The RV Series is stainless steel to withstand the toughest of conditions.

¼” and ½” NPT, 316 stainless steel, high flow pressure relief (for pneumatic application only) valve, with factory set and tested pressure settings.

Shuttle Valves – Brass

Versa Valves Shuttle Valves
The brass Shuttle Valve is a two inlet, one outlet device utilizing a free moving shuttle which blocks one of two inlet ports while allowing the unblocked inlet port to flow to the outlet.

When a pressure signal is applied to one of the inlet ports, the shuttle shifts blocking off the opposite inlet port and flow goes through the outlet. The shuttle will stay in this condition until the original signal is removed or a higher pressure signal is applied to the opposite inlet port. In logic terms, a shuttle valve is an “OR” function

Shuttle Valves – Stainless Steel

Versa Valves Shuttle Valves
The stainless steel Shuttle Valve is a two inlet, one outlet device utilizing a free moving shuttle which blocks one of two inlet ports while allowing the unblocked inlet port to flow to the outlet.

When a pressure signal is applied to one of the inlet ports, the shuttle shifts blocking off the opposite inlet port and flow exits through the outlet. The shuttle stays in this condition until the original signal is removed or a higher pressure signal is applied to the opposite inlet port. In logic terms, a shuttle valve is an “OR” function.

Status Indicator

Versa Valves Status Indicator
Versa’s Status Indicator provides a visual indication of pressure in a system. The standard product displays a green field when a minimum of 8 psi (0.55 bar) to a maximum of 200 psi (14 bar) is present. Complete loss of pressure causes the indicator to display a red field, marked with the recognition character “R”.
