Each unit integrates high-quality, durable materials like stainless steel and anodized aluminum, guaranteeing their reliability in demanding conditions. In addition, our actuators include a rack-and-pinion design that minimizes backlash. They’re also easily interchangeable with other actuator types.

FRA Series – Rack-And-Pinion Type Rotary Actuator
The FRA Series Pneumatic Rotary Actuator features a compact, rack-and-pinion design that minimizes backlash in installations with limited space. Each double-acting, rectangular unit incorporates standard magnetic pistons, as well as end caps with rotation adjustment on either side.
The FRA Series comes in 16, 20 and 25-millimeter bore diameters and achieves a maximum operating pressure of 100 psi. Choose from 90- and 180-degree rotation angles to fit your application. For easy replacement, units are easily interchangeable with other actuator models.
FRB Series – Vane Type Rotary Actuator
Available in four sizes, the FRB Series Rotary Actuator is rated up to 33 in-lb of force and offers rotation angles of 90, 180 and 270 degrees. This vane-type actuator includes standard stainless steel shafting, as well as optional position sensing. It also enables low-pressure operation—featuring a minimum operating pressure ranging from 22 psi with the larger bore sizes and 29 psi for the smaller bores.
At its largest size, the FRB Series accommodates loads up to 30 N (radial) and 25 N (thrust). Its round profile sensors feature surge suppression, polarity protection, an LED indicator and extremely fast switching speeds. These slide into mating 4-millimeter keyhole slots and are easily positioned and locked into place with set screws. Units integrate durable materials, including hard-anodized aluminum front and rear end covers, carbon steel screws and special Nitrile Buna rubber (NBR) seal and washers.
FRC Series – Rack-And-Pinion Type Rotary Actuator
The FRC Series Pneumatic Rotary Actuator features a rack-and-pinion mechanism that minimizes backlash. Ideal for installations with limited space, this compact, double-acting model includes standard magnetic pistons and adjustable air cushions, as well as end caps with screws for rotation adjustment. Optional shock absorbers can be configured to replace the standard set stop screws for enhanced impact dampening.
Available in larger sizes to provide more torque, the FRC Series comes in 16, 20, 25, 32 and 40-millimeter bore diameters. At its largest size, these actuators can handle loads of 543 N (side), 1,009 N (axial) and 25 N (moment). The rotary actuators feature durable, high-quality materials, including a stainless steel rack, case-hardened steel pinion and aluminum black anodized front and rear end covers. They achieve a maximum operating pressure of 150 PSI and are available with a 180-degree rotation angle.
