Compressed Air Filters

A compressed air filter removes contaminants that can be present in compressed air. Different filter types are available for different types of contaminants. For general applications, we provide oil coalescing, particulate and oil vapor filters in a range of flows and pressures. Pneumatech is also your partner for breathing air, silicone-free, sterile and process filtration.

Pneumatech offers a Standard (S) range and a High Efficiency (HE) range of compressed air filters to best meet your process needs. Both filter ranges offer similar benefits such as:

The HE range is engineered for minimal pressure drops and offers significant energy savings over time. Pneumatech filters are available in a number ofgrades (P, G, C, S, D and V) and sizes:

Assured Air Purity

When compressed air comes into direct or indirect contact with your product, a much higher level of contaminant control is required. Particular attention needs to be given to contaminants that might appear during the compression and distribution of the air.

Pneumatech filters have been fully tested and qualified according to the latest ISO8573 and ISO12500 standards. Tests have been conducted in-house as well as in external labs; and are independantly validated by TÜV.

The expertly engineered Ultimate Series not only achieves the highest air purity standards in line with ISO 8573-1:2010, it also incorporates the latest in filtration technology. VT 1-9 Carbon Towers

FF Flanged Air Filters

The flanged filter range contains the same type of robust, highly-efficient filter cartridges as the threaded range. The cartridges are contained in a welded steel housing and provided with flanged connections at the compressed air inlet and outlet. The filter housings are completely cleaned: zinc phosphate and KTL-coated on the inside and outside and externally painted afterwards. This guarantees a housing lifetime of at least 20 years. All flanged filters are standard equipped with a zero-loss electronic drain and differential pressure gauge with voltage-free contact connections. The special rotating system of the bottom cover makes filter cartridge replacement very straightforward.

PMR Mist Eliminators

With only 10% of the pressure drop of a regular coalescing filter and an expected service life 20-30 times longer than conventional filers, the PMR series is the only choice for efficient removal of mist sized particles.

HP PF Series – High Pressure Air Filters

The new Pneumatech high pressure filter has been developed in close cooperation with our customers. The high pressure filters are used in many customer applications such as: laser cutting, PET bottling, pressure testing of components, high pressure die casting, foundry cooling, seismic exploration, autoclave and diving applications.

The high pressure filters are available in 3 pressure ranges: the 725 psi(g) range is available in both aluminum and stainless steel housings. As the performance of both filters is the same, the choice between the 2 can be made based on the customer’s preference. The 1450 and 5000 psi(g) filters are both available in stainless steel housings. Our aluminum and stainless steel housings are designed to withstand operational pressures of 725, 1450 and 5000 psi(g). We have verified this in the design phase but we also perform a hydrostatic pressure test for every filter that leaves production.

FP Process Filters

In process industries where the risk of corrosion of the compressed air systems components is high, our process filter range meets the mark. The filter housing is made from stainless steel and the surface has been smoothened with advanced mechanical and electro-polishing techniques. A milk pipe connection between the filter head and the bowl prevents contamination by micro-organisms.

FS Sterile Filters

FS filter housings are made out of stainless steel with a surface that has been smoothened. The upper and lower filter filter parts are connected by sanitary tri clamp fitting and the side connections are made out of sanitary ISO flanges. As a result, there is no void inside the entire filter housing and there is little to no risk of microorganism contamination. The filter elements are manufactured with silicon to ensure robustness at high operating and sterilization temperatures. All this results in a highly-efficient and exceptionally strong filter.

SLF Series – Silicone-Free Filters

The SLF filters are free from substances that could cause defects in the paint. The filters are manufactured in a controlled environment that ensures silicone is not present on the components used or introduced in the production process. All filters are subject to dimensional inspection, pressure & performance testing and a paint compatibility test.
